Event Insurance Requirements

Protecting You, Your Guests, and Cottonwood Cottage

To help ensure a safe and enjoyable event, Cottonwood Cottage requires all private event and venue-only wedding clients to obtain Special Event Liability Insurance (also known as Event Insurance or One-Day Event Insurance).

This affordable policy protects you, your guests, and the venue in the unlikely event of an accident during your event.

Many policies can be purchased online in just a few minutes, and some homeowners insurance companies also offer event liability coverage.

 

Insurance Requirements

Your policy must include:

$1,000,000 General Liability Coverage
Cottonwood Cottage listed as an Additional Insured
Coverage for your event date(s)

If alcohol will be served, your policy must also include Host Liquor Liability Coverage.

If no alcohol will be served, Host Liquor Liability Coverage is not required.
